1. Tickets! An excellent tip from Disney Buy your tickets before departing home, or at most a day prior to you plan to enter the first parks. Package tickets are the best. There are many packages available, so you can find the one that suits your needs. But, lines will still be long to get into the park. Imagine how long you would spend waiting in line just to get your tickets. You'd have to wait twice as long. Another Disney world tip: Disney Stores in Malls across the country sell tickets packages for parks. Some multi-day tickets may not be valid for as long as you thought. The ticket expires 14 days after the last use. But, it's still cheaper to package many days and have the no expiration date added for a fee. They can be used for your next trip.

You can avoid long lines by going to the FastPass Kiosk located near the line you wish to ride and entering your ticket. You will receive a receipt that gives you an hour-long reservation window so you can return later in the day. You can then return and go right to the beginning of the line. 3. Do your gift shopping earlier in the day. The selection is greater then. Even before the parks close, there are always people in the shops. However, you can carry your purchases throughout the day.

4. The last Disney tip is really two for one. First, you should attend one the Character Breakfasts, Lunches or Dinners. These events are fun for all and provide additional perks. The Character Breakfast at Animal Kingdom tickets allow you to access the park one and a half hours before the opening. Enjoy a behind-the-scenes breakfast adventure, and you'll be the first to enter the park when it opens.

5. Timing! Summer vacations and winter breaks are busy! If you are limited on time, plan ahead. You can still go to the Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks, which are less crowded but more festive. You can also enjoy the last three weeks of February and most of October.
